It’s officially fall, and you know what that means: Your favorite shows are back and better than ever. It’s time to tune in and watch the newest seasons of the some of the most popular shows on television right now. While many of us college students like to watch Netflix 24/7, you may want to check out these upcoming premieres.
“Will & Grace”
While this show was very popular while most of us were little, it is one of the most iconic shows of all time. It premiered in September of 1998, and is an Emmy-winning comedy that ran for eight seasons, following the lives of hilarious best friends and roommates Will and Grace, along with their friends Jack and Karen. Now, they are back again, more than 10 years later. The first episode premieres on NBC on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m.
Do you like watching competition shows? What about making alliances? Surviving on an island? Then get excited, because Season 35 of the hit show “Survivor” is right around the corner. This season, the Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers take over for another crazy adventure in Fiji. The already hyped up season began on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. on CBS. You won’t want to miss this.
Raise your hand if you love “Riverdale.” I recently watched the first season on Netflix, and I’m not going to lie, I am hooked. With actors Cole Sprouse, K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch and Casey Cott, the thrilling mysteries are far from over. Although the Jason Blossom mystery has been solved, there are plenty more questions to be answered. Season two premieres on Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
“This Is Us”
If you were a fan of “This Is Us” last year, get ready for even more dramatic episodes. Receiving 13 Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, it was clear that this show had a huge impact on the television industry. So huge, in fact, that “This Is Us” has already been renewed for not one, but two more seasons. The newest season premiered Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
